These hoses are manufactured by Dormont and are considered one of the best on the market today, these hoses are manufactured to meet current gas regulations to British Standards BS669 pt 2 (current regs). Unlike cheaper quality hoses the quick release coupling features a thermal shut off link that will isolate the gas supply if the kitchen temperature exceeds 170 degrees in the event of a fire.
