Commercial Snow Chain Size Chart. Spread the chain on the ground behind the drive wheel. Move the vehicle till the wheel has been left on the chain with the majority of the chain to the rear.

Pick the chain left on the floor up and dress it over the tyre. Hook the flat hook at the back of the tyre to the tightest link of the connecting chain.

Hook the flat hook at the front of the tyre to the tightest link of the connecting chain. Cross the black rubber tensioning tongue through all the hoops in an anticlockwise direction and tighten the chain. Thread the metal tensioning plate (marked with the size of the chain) through the links of the black rubber tensioning tongue chain. Pull the metal tensioning plate backwards till you have fitted it together with a free link.

Fasten the tensioning chain end by hooking the black rubber tensioning tongue on the furthest opposite links of the chain. The use of any snow chain can distort the data which the electronic systems of stability and traction receive ESP, VDIM, VSC, LSD, TRC, ? These chains are adapted to different tyre measures. In order to achieve the right tension, we recommend that you perform the step 5 again after a short route or at least after a ¼ wheel turn. To preserve the condition of the chains, wash them with hot water after using them and leave them to dry before putting them in their bag.

Important: Read these instructions carefully before fitting. You will have to check whether the chains are adjusted properly and placed correctly on the tyres. The chain is correctly adjusted when is centered evenly on the wheel. A chain which is incorrectly adjusted (excessively loose) can hit the vehicle. In this case you will have to check the adjustment and tighten it.

At the start and after 200 m it is recommended that you stop and check the tension of the chains. The chains are made of quality steel, but they are not stainless, a light rust layer may appear but this does not influence on their quality. Once the chains are installed, the operation of the vehicle can vary, therefore: avoid slamming and accelerate abruptly, never drive more than 50 km/h.
